BIG BOYZ FISHING DERBY

The tournament proved to be another success. All reports indicate that the new format of measuring rather than weighing the fish worked well. Thanks to our club members, community volunteers, Cliff Barclay and the Wheatley Scouts and to our many sponsors who assisted with this year’s tournament. Special thanks to Larry McDonald for his many hours of behind the scenes work in making our tournament (and other club events) run so smoothly.

Thank you to all our local sponsors for helping support the 2014 annual kids fishing derby. Over 250 kids were in attendance on July 12th at the Wheatley pier. Prizes and lunch were provided for each entrant. The guys and gals from the SWOC did a fantastic job hosting the event
