ERCA given $300K by Ducks Unlimited

Ducks Unlimited is giving the conservation authority $300,000 to improve dikes at Hillman Marsh.

The funding was announced Thursday night by Anthony Leardi, chairman of the Essex Region Conservation Authority.

He told the board the funding will go toward managing the water levels, giving them control for better habitat.

"That's wonderful," he said of the funding announcement.
